Highschool

wow,

so i just started highschool...it's crazy. and it doesn't even seem real. i feel like it's not even me.

but i can't deny the fact that i really like it :]
it's different, and usually i really hate change, but in this case, it was really good. I made a lot of new friends, and highschool has opened my eyes to a lot of new things. I'm hoping that all my friendships will last through all four years. And nothing will change. :] my life is going purdyyy good right now, even with all the things that are going on. :]
i'm looking for to the rest of the year, and im hoping i'll keep my straight a's, and i'll stay involved with the school activities. :] GO ROCKETS!

Doctor's Apointment :[

So, i went to the doctor just the other day. I went in just expecting to have a physical. BUT things didn't turn out the way i planned. Instead of just getting my shots done and over with, i had to go through a lot more! I'm absolutely terrified of needles. So when the doctor dropped the bomb about me having to have my blood drawn, i completely freaked out. When i first arrived, they weighed me. I weigh 104, and about 5'8". For my age and height, i should at least be 110. We found out that i weighed more than 30% of the girls my age. The doctor was worried about me not weighing as much as i should. When she checked my body mass, or something like that, she said if it was 2% lower i would have been hospitalized. So, anyway, since she was worried, she decided to check my blood. Yeah, i freaked out. I had to be held down by my grandma to have my blood drawn. I would have kicked and punched all day if i could have. When they finally got my blood, the doctor asked me about my diet. She found it interesting that i was a vegetarian. She asked me more about what i ate, and i found out that apparently i'm a vegan. So i've taken vegetarianism to the next level. Well when i got my blood test back, i found out that my protein level was dangerously low. Then, to top it off, i found out i'm anemic. That means that my body doesn't have enough iron. [my red blood cells were really low, and they're the cells that carry oxygen]. After finding this out, my family and my boyfriend, told me that i should start eating meat again. I hesitated, but i knew that all my family and Tyler, have lost many people, and i didn't want to be added to that list. So, for all them, i've decided to start eating meat again. JUST until i can figure out how to be a vegetarian and do it healthily. It makes me EXTREMELY sad to have to do this, but it is for the best. I don't wanna be in the hospital my freshman year...so yeahh. Hopefully things will turn out good.

Freshman Academy!

Today, i had to get up at 9:00 a.m. to go to my new highschool. it felt so early for me. i was dragging my feet around until we actually got there. Basically all we did was get our lockers, combinations, and a SCHS t-shirt, and we went on a tour through the freshman part of the school. The good thing was i got to see some of my friends that i haven't seen all summer. Like, Drea Bailey, Alyssa Hale, Ninoshka Alverado, Katey Harden, and more people. :D I'm not exactly sure what all our groups did. Our highschool is HUGE! i got lost! a LOT! When me and some of my friends went ot our lockers, we decided to see if i could fit in it. weeeell, i could, but when i got out, our group had left us. lol. So we wondered the halls, and got lost........then ran into other groups, and i somehow came across my friend, Jordan Blase. :] so we walked around awhile, and met up with my friend Drea :]. Tyler was with her, but somehow we lost him and he went with his group. So it was just us three wondering around. We got lost bad, and couldn't find any civilization for a while. then had a soap fight in the bathroom! XD lol. Anyway,

i actually had a good time. People who stayed with their group said it was boring....oh well. at least i'm a little more looking forward to higschool. :]

Important Events.

Weeeell, i kinda made my blog a little too late.

Several VERY important things have happened recently, and i haven't been able to write anything about him. So now i'm just gonna write a few things about the recent events that have occured.

Taylor's Birthday

july 15th

My little Brother's Birthday was July 15th. Me and my family went out to eat to celebrate. Dinner was GRATE!! i can't remember the name of the restaraunt, but i'll definately be going again!

8th Grade Dance and Graduation!!

The Eighth Grade Dance was definately one of the best night of my life! Usually our school dances kinda...suck...but this one was REALLY fun! i loved it sooo much. Me and Spenser arrived together! :] And we were up in front of the band the WHOLE time dancing. We were actually some of the few who were actually brave enough to dance. Not a lot of people did!

may 30th

The Graduation was sad...me and my friends cried. Yes, we're going into HighSchool, but all that means is things are just gonna keep changing. It's so sad. I'm only 14 and i know that time is passing by faster than i want it too. I just have to stay strong and make it through this! On the bright side, we did have a party after this! It was probably the best night of my life! This is also the day me and Tyler got back together! <3

This really was a long time ago! Spenser's birthday is April 22nd, and we had her party at Her aunt's house. It was reeeeeally fun!

It's funny how the funnest things seemed to happen at the end of eighth grade year...i'd have to say that, my eighth grade year has been a year of change. I've changed SOO much, if you didn't really know me, you wouldn't be able to tell that seventh grade McKenzie and eighth grade McKenzie were the same person. I've learned that i'm alot more mature and realize more things than the people around me do. So i'll always be a little seperated...and though that's sad, it's how i am. There's no helping it. I now know that the key to surviving isn't living...it's learning to live with yourself. So i'm gonna have to do that! These changes are sad and i don't want anymore, but at the same time, i'm looking forward to them! weird, i know!
